The United Girls golf team participated in the Class 1A regional at Valley View Golf Club today. The girls came home as Regional Champions shooting a team score of 347 to beat Macomb’s 360 and Ridgewood’s 364. Meredith Yung was the Regional Individual Champion shooting a score of 79. She was followed by Kennedy Martin with a top 5 finish in 5th place with 88. Paige Christianson finished 6th with 89, Jalyn Wallace finished 8th with 91, Abbey Kendall finished 23rd with 100 and Elly Hinton in 53rd with 118. Next up is the Class 1A Sectional at Wolf Creek in Pontiac on Monday, Oct. 6th.
