The United Girls Golf team isn’t the only one having postseason success this fall, as the Red Storm boys golfers turned in a strong performance at their regional on Wednesday at their home course of Gibson Woods in Monmouth. United finished second overall with a team score of 340, just five strokes behind first-place Ridgewood, which was good enough to secure a spot in next week’s sectional tournament in Pontiac.

Both Red Storm teams now shift their focus to sectionals on Monday. The boys will compete at a familiar course at Valley View in Cambridge, while the girls will travel to Wolf Creek in Pontiac as they look to extend their postseason runs to the state tournament.
