Monmouth-Roseville fall sports have officially come to a close. The Monmouth-Roseville football squad was on the road Saturday for an IHSA 3A quarterfinal matchup with top-seeded Richmond-Burton, ultimately falling 31-6. The Titans had a phenomenal season, reaching the quarterfinals for the first time since 2018 and setting a new school record for wins, along with several individual records. The Titans will certainly miss their seniors next year, and Head Coach Jeremy Adolphson shares more about this special group.

The Titans will return a strong core next season and look to repeat that same level of success.

The Monmouth-Roseville Galesburg swim co-op also wrapped up its season at the FMC Natatorium this past weekend, as senior Hayden Johnson capped off an amazing career. Johnson placed 27th in the 400-yard freestyle relay, missing the finals by five seconds, and 30th in the 100-yard breaststroke. That brings to a close a memorable career for the lone Titan swimmer.

Now the calendar turns to winter sports. The Monmouth-Roseville girls basketball team opens its season tomorrow at the ROWVA-Williamsfield-Ridgewood Thanksgiving Tournament. The boys will host their Meet the Titans Night on Friday at 5:30, with their season officially getting underway next week.
