The United Girls’ Basketball season officially kicked off last night at the ROWVA/Williamsfield-Ridgewood Thanksgiving Tournament. The Red Storm took on one of the hosts in ROWVA/Williamsfield, ultimately falling in a tough battle, 44-24. Head Coach Chris Olson says he’s just excited to be back in the gym.
The United Girls’ Basketball roster is made up of just 1 senior, 1 junior, and 12 underclassmen.
The Red Storm will get a day off tonight and get back on the floor Wednesday night for the final pool play game against Mercer County at 7:30 in Williamsfield.
