Each year, the United Way of West Central Illinois begins their campaign at zero. The 2025 campaign is currently underway, raising funds to support local agencies and organizations in Henderson, Mercer, Knox, and Warren Counties, shares Executive Director Jeannie Weber:
“We are campaigning in all four counties. I have started with our solicitation letters. I have already been working in several organizations on workplace campaigns. I am in the process of sitting down with businesses both in Warren and Knox Counties, also in Mercer County. This is also an incredible time of year, and I know that other non-profit leaders feel the same way about this; our community, our region in general, is extremely generous. It doesn’t take a lot to share the fact that when all of us pitch in, we are all better for it.”
The anticipated goal for the United Way of West Central Illinois’ 2025 campaign is $500,000.
