Here’s the WMOI/WRAM Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 9th, 2025:

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan Athlete of the Week is senior football player, Elijah Noel. Elijah ran for 102 yards on just five carries in a 2nd round playoff win over Bloomington Central Catholic. His 68 yard touchdown run in the first quarter kick-started the Titan offense. Elijah also booted an extra point that proved to be the game-winning margin in a 1-point victory.

The United Red Storm Athlete of the Week is freshman girls swimmer, Izzy Feehan. Izzy helped her co-op squad of Galesburg/United/Monmouth-Roseville to a second place finish as a team at the Pekin Sectional meet. In a loaded field of swimmers, She was a part of the 4th place 200 yard freestyle relay team that was only seconds away from qualifying for the state finals. Izzy also had a top-10 finish in the 200 IM.

The West Central Heat Athlete of the Week is junior girls swimmer, Becca Hinshaw. Becca qualified for the IHSA state finals in one event and was a whisker away from qualifying in another. She placed first in the 50 yard freestyle race, posting a career-low time and setting a Pekin High School pool record. Becca then finished 3rd in the 100 yard freestyle race and was .01 from the state qualifying time.

The Galesburg Silver Streak Athlete of the Week is junior girls swimmer, Macie Nelson. Macie and her three 400 yard freestyle relay teammates qualified for the IHSA state finals by winning their race at the Pekin Sectionals. She was just seconds away from qualifying in three other events, as well. Macie was the runnerup in the 500 freestyle and 100 backstroke and was also a part of the 2nd place 200 medley relay team.

The Abingdon-Avon Tornado Athlete of the Week is sophomore football player, Tre Kenon. Tre’s performance on both sides of the ball this season allowed the LincolnLand coaches to vote him onto the All-Conference second team on offense and defense. At wide receiver, he caught an amazing 45 balls for 675 yards and 8 touchdowns. As a defensive back, Tre made 74 total tackles, caught one interception, recovered a fumble and scored a touchdown.
