At the 2025 Illinois Farm Bureau meeting in Chicago, delegates from county Farm Bureau organizations gathered to vote on resolutions for 2026. Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau President Jake Armstrong shared that several resolutions were passed, including changes to the organization’s membership structure.

“We had a lot of good conversations about private property rights, selling American farmland, data centers and eminent domain, and other hot-topic issues,” Armstrong said. “Education is going to continue to be worked on and reviewed. Membership will look a little bit different—our traditional M voting member and PM, or professional member, were merged into one. Some of the smaller membership categories that only about 200 people statewide used were eliminated and merged into the M and A categories, with some billing changes made accordingly.”

In addition to the newly passed resolutions, new leadership was elected to the Illinois Farm Bureau Board.
