OSF HealthCare has announced that Lisa DeKezel has resigned from her role as president of OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg and OSF HealthCare Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, effective December 31. DeKezel is leaving OSF HealthCare to pursue an opportunity outside of the Ministry.

Lisa has served in dual roles, leading OSF St. Mary as president since November 2019 and OSF Holy Family since 2021.

During her tenure, Lisa helped establish OSF St. Mary as an intermediate hub for the upper Western Region, including developing a successful recruitment strategy to support expanded services. Her commitment to quality and safety also helped the medical center maintain its A grade from the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade since the program’s inception in 2012. She has also supported the strategic growth of OSF Holy Family and their National Rural Rating System five-star rating as a top performing facility.

Plans for interim leadership and the recruitment process for permanent replacements will be announced at a later date.
