The Monmouth College men’s basketball team, picked first in the Midwest Conference coaches poll, will officially open league play tomorrow night at Glennie Gym against Illinois College. The women’s team, off to a 2-3 start in non conference action, will also begin their Midwest Conference schedule. Sports Information Director Nathan Baliva says both squads should be well rested heading into the opener.
Both teams will also hit the road this weekend for a rivalry matchup at Knox College. Both games will be broadcast live on AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM and online at radiomonmouth.com. The men will tip off first at 1 p.m., with pregame coverage starting at 12:30.
