The Monmouth-Roseville Titans boys squad dropped a tough TRAC West Division matchup Friday night.
The Titans were looking for some revenge after suffering a 69-50 loss earlier this season at Riverdale, and for three quarters, Monmouth-Roseville played with that vengeance.
The game was tied at 26 at halftime before the Titans took a 42-50 lead into the fourth quarter.
The fourth quarter couldn’t have gone much worse for Monmouth-Roseville, as Riverdale outscored the Titans 26-7 over the final eight minutes, handing the Titans a 68-57 loss.
With the loss, Monmouth-Roseville falls to 7-11 overall and 1-5 in TRAC West play. Riverdale improves to 15-7 on the season and 3-3 in conference action.
The Titans will get another chance to get back on the floor Saturday, hosting a nonconference matchup with Geneseo.
We’ll have the broadcast on Sunny 97.7 and online at radiomonmouth.com. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30, with pregame following the JV game at approximately 5.
