High Point Church continues to grow its presence in Monmouth, five years after launching its local campus in 2020. Bryon Robbins says the church recently received a generous gift that will help expand its ability to serve the community.

“Emmanuel Baptist Church, the congregation there graciously gifted us their church and the parsonage to our church, to be able to reach the community and serve the community better. The facility is a lot better suited for serving children. We actually had our Summer Fest there this last summer. This building is over on Sunny Lane; 206 North Sunny Lane is the address. We’ll be moving in, we’re looking at March.”

High Point Church will also be hosting a community workday and breakfast at their new building this Saturday, shares Sam Lambert.

“We have lots of things to do. We have painting to do, and moving of furniture, and all kinds of different things that are going to be happening on that day. And alongside that, in tandem, we’re going to be serving fist at biscuits and gravy breakfast. Saturday, from 8 to 10, we’re going to be serving a drive through biscuits and gravy. So you don’t have to come into the church. You can drive in. There’ll be signs we’re taking Free Will donation. The suggested donation is $6 but Free Will donation for that.”

This event will take place this Saturday at the new High Point Church building at 206 N Sunny Lane.
