McDonough County Circuit Judge Nigel Graham sentenced a Quad-City area man to 25 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after being found guilty in a Jury Trial that took place in November of 2025.
Roman A. Rodriguez-Parra, of Coal Valley, Illinois must serve 85% of the sentence pursuant to Illinois Law. The defendant sexually assaulted a brave 4 year old child in 2022, who was forced to testify over three years later about the assault during the trial.
McDonough County State’s Attorney Matt Kwacala urges anyone who has information about a child being possibly abused to please contact law enforcement.
