Monmouth-Roseville junior high and high school wrestling will make the short trip to United for a special wrestling meet honoring Mason Giddings Wednesday night. Athletic Director Jeremy Adolphson shares more.
“They will be at United this Wednesday for a pretty cool event to celebrate the life of Mason Giddings, a former wrestler at United. Between Monmouth-Roseville and United, they’re going to have some youth wrestling matches, some junior high wrestling matches, then some high school wrestling matches, and it will be a great event, a nice fundraiser for his family.”
Mason Giddings was a standout athlete on both the football field and the wrestling mat for the Red Storm. He graduated from United High School in May of 2025 before tragically passing away in November.
The Mason Giddings Memorial Wrestling Meet will be held Wednesday at United High School. There will be no gate fee, as all families are encouraged to attend. A free will donation and silent auction will also be held, with all proceeds going to the Mason Giddings Memorial Fund. Anyone interested in donating an item can contact and/or drop it off at the United High School main office before 5 p.m. tomorrow.
Wrestling action will begin at 6 p.m. with the Warren County Thunder Youth Club, followed by United Junior High and High School taking on Monmouth-Roseville.
Everyone is invited to come out and pack the house to remember and honor Mason Giddings.
