Throughout the school year, artificial intelligence has been an area of focus for professional development with the West Central School District staff and administration, informs Superintendent Stacey Day:

“Jeremy Hennings, who is our Technology Director, has met with staff to talk about next steps. He has talked about how teachers can use artificial intelligence kind of as their assistant to do things quicker. We have talked about how artificial intelligence can help with designing lesson plans, coming up with ideas, and he has started the conversation with teaching the kids how to use it.”

On Wednesday, January 21st at 6 pm in the West Central Elementary Cafeteria, the Board of Education will hold their monthly meeting, which will include an update on the progress of the new $125,000 elementary playground.
