United High School Update

The United School District held their monthly board meeting Thursday July 12th. Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt shared items discussed, including summer maintenance, and security and electrical upgrades. Also, the 10 year life safety survey was approved at the meeting, now the district is waiting for approval from the state before jumping in and accomplishing more projects the district needs done from an architectural standpoint.

Whitsitt also shares the district will be having a meeting about getting a school resource officer to staff at the school.

Online registration for United will open July 23rd and onsite registration will be on August 2nd at the High School. School will begin on August 20th.
