She was born October 24, 1923, in Moberly, Missouri, to Harry G. Sr. and Anna Paige Davis.  She married Donald Wallace on July 8, 1943.  She later married Cassell Page on November 5, 1960.

Cora graduated from Galesburg High School in 1942.  She was a lifelong member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, where she was a charter member of the Floral Guild Club.  She also served as president of the Cecilia Malone Missionary Society and served on the Senior Usher Board.

Cora worked at Sears & Roebuck Company in the Customer Service/Automotive Department for 18 years, retiring in 1993.  She also served as a Commissioner of the Knox County Jury Commission.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Donald Gary (Yvonne) Wallace of Galesburg and Ryan (Victoria) Page of Columbus, Georgia; three daughters, Mary Ann (Leon) Campbell of College Park, Georgia, Cathy Lowe of Riverdale, Georgia, and Lori (Roy) Smith of Winchester, California; one special stepdaughter, Shirley White of St. Louis, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Claudette Wallace of Boise, Idaho; two sisters-in-law, Jeannie (Charles) Shelton of Galesburg and Loretta Davis of California; and 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many, many special friends who she “Loved to the Moon & Back”.  She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two sons, Larry “Butter” Wallace and an infant twin; a stepson, Charles Page Sr.; one sister, Helen Ford; and four brothers, Herman, Harry Jr., Charles, and William Davis.

Cora loved to write and had beautiful handwriting.  She wrote letters, notes, and cards in different colors of ink.  She especially enjoyed sending Christmas cards to just about everyone she knew.  Each year she would give calendars to all of her children (and anyone else who requested one) that she would fill out by hand listing all birthdays and special occasions.  She had a knack for remembering birthdays and you could rest assured that you would hear your name announced on the radio (WGIL) on your special day.  She loved basketball and knew all of the NBA teams and their key players.  She also loved visiting the sick and shut-in to spread a little cheer!

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Friday, July 17, 2020, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.  Graveside service will follow at East Linwood Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with Rev.
