Weaver named head coach at CSC

Western Illinois University Spring 2020 alumna McKenna Weaver has been named the head coach of the Carl Sandburg College Chargers women’s basketball team.

Weaver received her master’s degree in sport management from WIU in May.

Prior to being named head coach of the CSC team, she was an assistant coach for the past two seasons, as well as a former player.

Weaver graduated from Limestone High School and was one of the most decorated athletes in CSC history during her two seasons, from 2014-16. She became an assistant coach with the team in 2018.
