A long-standing tradition in the Monmouth community is right around the corner. The Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at the Monmouth American Legion Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24th with deliveries beginning at 11:30 am, takeout at 11:45 am, and dine-in starting at noon until 1:30 pm.  Scott McClintock, who has been involved with the annual event for many years, shares how the tradition came to be:

McClintock says donations and volunteers are always appreciated. An account for donations has been set up at Security Savings Bank. Any questions or if you are called to volunteer, contact McClintock at 309-715-7181.
