Devon Witherspoon is the highest drafted defensive back in Illini history. The All-American Illinois cornerback was selected number-five overall by the Seattle Seahawks in last night’s NFL Draft in Kansas City. Witherspoon is the 21st first-round pick in Illinois history and the seventh top-10 pick.
