Monmouth City Council has approved a bid for the airport terminal, which will create an office space and pilot’s lounge, shares Mayor Rod Davies:

“Since the airport fire, we have been trying to find funds to not only replace the actual hangars, which we were able to get a lot of state funding for that, and that saved our airport insurance for building the actual terminal, or the office. We have a fairly modest design and two people submitted bids to Hutchinson Engineering and the low bid was from Hein Construction. Their bid was $478,000 and again that will be funded with the insurance proceeds.”
