The recognition breakfast for area farmers is free to attend and is a goodwill gesture to reinforce the purpose of the Warren County Prime Beef Festival, to promote the local agricultural heritage. The keynote speaker will be Rodney Weinzierl, Executive Director of the Illinois Corn Growers Association. Other speakers will include State Representative Norine Hammond, State Representative Dan Swanson, State Senator Mike Halpin, and State Senator Neil Anderson. The breakfast is courtesy of the Monmouth American Legion, G&M Distributors, Inc., M & E Catering, FS, Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau, and WRAM AM 1330.
