Local Monmouth resident Karla Wallace is finding a way to give back to our community. You may know Wallace from her annual School Park Backpack program and now she is adding a Blessing Box to her philanthropic endeavors. The Blessing Box is located at 821 South 3rd Street and is for anyone that may need any of the products she is providing free of charge. She also has a box for donations if people want to support the Blessing Box cause. Wallace says she will soon add meat to to box that currently contains can goods, raisins, beans, cereal and paper goods. Wallace adds that her philosophy is “Life is better with a friend”.
