The Galesburg Community Chorus’ annual spring concert, featuring Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, will take place on Saturday, April 27th at 7:30pm at First Presbyterian Church, 101 N. Prairie St, Galesburg, IL. This extensive choral work is one of the most well-loved and exciting scenic oratorios of the 20th century, with powerful music, driving rhythms, and strong characterization of its colorful text. The cost of tickets is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (60+), and free for students. Tickets may either be purchased at the door or on the Chorus’ website at www.galesburgcommunitychorus.org.
