The Warren County History Museum and Archaeological Institute of America Western Illinois Society Present Illuminating the Past: An Application of Data Science to Archaeology. Monmouth College Mathematics Professor Michael Sostarecz will talk on Reflectance Transformation Imaging and improvements on how to collect data, an original model to combine experimental images, and new options for post-processing. Greco-Egyptian pottery will be on display at the event held at the Warren County History Museum, 238 South Sunny Lane in Monmouth or also on Zoom.
