DESCRIPTION:Area educators note: On Wednesday\, June 8th (Quad Cities) and Thursday\, June 9th (Peoria)\, “Ag in a Day” teacher workshops will be held\, hosted by Bureau\, Henry\, Knox\, Mercer\, Stark\, and Warren-Henderson county farm bureaus. These workshops and tours are intended to help teachers learn about ag topics and local agricultural products in surrounding counties. Professional development credits will be available to attendees. DESCRIPTION:The First Lutheran Church\, 116 South B Street in Monmouth\, will hold their annual Strawberry Festival in the basement Fellowship Hall. Serving BBQ sandwiches\, chips\, strawberries\, ice cream\, cake and drinks. Suggested donations are $8 for adults and $5 for children ten and under. The Monmouth Municipal Band will play beginning at 7 pm. Proceeds will go towards the Church and Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America projects.
