SUMMARY:ICS Spring Musical Frozen Junior
DESCRIPTION:ICS is presenting Frozen Junior the Musical on Tuesday\, May 9th at 1:30pm and 6:00pm and Wednesday\, May 10th at 6:00pm at Dahl Chapel on the Monmouth College campus. Admission is $5 per adult\, $3 per student and children 4 and under are free. Immediate Family Passes are $15 for families planning to attend multiple performances. Tickets can be purchased at the door one hour prior to each show. All admission cost goes right back into the music program to help pay for expenses of the musical and fund the 23/24 ICS Spring Musical.

DESCRIPTION:10am Wednesday\, May 10\, in the BCA Gallery Old Friends Talk Art presents Barbara Lawhorn\, Associate Professor at Western Illinois University. How do the literary and visual arts intertwine? Western Illinois University Professor of English\, Barbara Lawhorn\, will explore the rich history of ekphrasis and read from her published ekphrastic prose and poetry. Participants will be encouraged to engage with the current exhibit and create their own ekphrastic poem or flash fiction/creative nonfiction in response to a specific work or the exhibit as a whole. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. OFTA is funded in part by the Jim and Jan DeYoung Charitable Trust.
