SUMMARY:Warren County Fair Thursday Events
DESCRIPTION:Swine show at 8 am followed by the sheep show\, recognition program\, breeding beef show\, and the steer show. Master showmanship will be at the conclusion of each species showmanship class and winners will be announced at the end of the steer show. Also\, the flower show is at 10 am and horticulture at 1 pm. The Annual Livestock Premium Auction will be at 6 pm in the Swine show ring. Triple J Bull Riding in the grandstands begins at 7 pm. Admission prices are $10 and kids 3 and younger are free. Staggard will be in the Entertainment Tent following the grandstand event.

SUMMARY:The Good Time Gals: Music on Our Front Porch at the Western Illinois Museum
DESCRIPTION:The Good Time Gals will no doubt bring some excitement to Our Front Porch. Join us for a memorable evening as part of our popular music series set in the most unexpected and interesting venue in McDonough County. On Thursday\, July 20th\, The Good Time Gals will share their original material that pulls influences of Americana\, Blues\, Vintage Jazz\, Honky Tonk\, and Western Swing\, elevated by rich vocal harmonies and bold arrangements. The doors and bar open at 5:00 with two sets of music starting at 5:30 pm. This talented “all-gal” quartet is composed of “Miss Myra” Burnette on guitar and vocals and Debbie Briggs on lead vocals\, Beth Varela on percussion and cello\, and Alissa Jacobsen on fiddle.  Their unique sound will surely keep toes tapping and hearts humming well after the show has ended.  With performances at some of the finest venues and festivals in Minnesota\, the Museum could not be more excited to welcome The Good Time Gals to Our Front Porch.  Give them a listen on Spotify.
