The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau, McDonough County Farm Bureau, and Tri-County Cattlemen's Association will be hosting the 16th Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser on Friday, August 23rd at 10am at the Gibson Woods Golf Course in Monmouth. Grandstand admission is $10, those under 3 years old are free. Classes include full size weld, rear wheel drive wire, front wheel drive wire, limited weld, bonestock compact, rear wheel drive bonestock, women's, and young guns. $50 for drivers. $20 pit passes.

Join the First Lutheran Church of Monmouth, located at 116 South B Street, for their annual Prime Beef Festival Drive Thru Meal. Serving ribeye or sloppy joe sandwiches, chips, and pie. Cost is $10. Serving times are 11 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm. Enter parking lot from West 1st Street.

Serving Ribeyes for $12, Pork Chop Sandwiches for $6, and hot dogs for $4. All prices include chips and a drink. Cookouts held outside the Midwest Bank location in Monmouth.
