All ladies in the Galesburg and surrounding area are invited to attend a monthly Women's Group at The Kensington Ballroom, 311 East Simmons Street in Galesburg. A light lunch will be provided along with a short presentation on a variety of topics. The monthly Women's Group will take place the third Wednesday of each month.
Tune into AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM for the Legislative Roundtable with panelists: State Representative Norine Hammond, State Representative Dan Swanson, State Senator Neil Anderson, and State Senator Mike Halpin. Topics include a legislative update, a law enforcement discussion, education discussion, and municipalities. Special guests will also be in attendance to ask the panelists questions.
HOWIE offers Hygiene on Wheels and holding a supply drive in the Canton Walmart Parking lot on November 16th from 10 am to 2 pm. Items in need, but not limited to shower supplies, toiletries, winter clothes, non-perishable food items, sleeping bags, backpacks, and blankets. For more information, call 309-222-2751.
