The Stronghurst Fall Festival will be held this Satuday, Sept. 16th, at Stronghurst Village Park. The event starts at 8:00 a.m. and will last until 2:00 p.m. There will be over 60 vendors in attendance at the festival. An organizer for the event, Shelly Giddings, gave a rundown of what types of vendors can be expected at the event.
“We have people that will represent woodcrafts, jewelry, repurposed and vintage items, food, tupperware, personalized gifts, homegoods, clothing, beauty, health and wellness, garden, children’s activities, hand-crafted fabrics, and paper crafts,” Giddings said.
At 11:00 a.m., the Stronghurst Booster Club will serve a pulled pork lunch, followed by the opening of the Dr. Robert Pogue Memorial Spray Park at 12:00 p.m. Pogue was a well-known doctor from the area. The Spray Park debuted in May of 2016. For more information about the Fall Festival, visit the Stronghurst Fall Festival’s Facebook page.
