Amy Patterson with the Monmouth Chamber of Commerce gave updates on upcoming events around the city. Two local businesses will be holding their ribbon-cutting ceremonies in the coming weeks: HTO LLC and Reworks Renovations. HTO’s will be happening next week on Monday, Oct. 30th at 2 p.m., while Reworks will hold their ceremony on Nov. 9th at 1 p.m.

The Chamber will also be holding a luncheon at the Warren County History Museum on Nov. 1st. Patterson gave an idea of what attendees can expect:

“Security Savings is our sponsor. They will be hosting the mayor, who will be giving a state of the city address. He and some other city officials will give some outlines on what they do, get some questions, answers, so they’ll just give a basic overview on that. Cerar’s is catering it. For Chamber members, it is $12 to come have lunch from noon until 1,” she said.

Lastly, Patterson previewed the Winter’s Farmer’s Market.

“It will be at the Armoury on Wednesday evenings from 4:30 to 7:00, and we hope to kick it off on January 3rd,” she said.

The Farmer’s Market will be more like a flea market according to Patterson, who says crafts and other items could be for sale there. For more information, call the Chamber office at 734-3181.
