Kensey Arlt, Monmouth College Women’s Soccer

Monmouth’s Kensey Arlt (Wichita, Kan./Eisenhower) came up big in goal last week helping the Scots climb up the league standings and was rewarded with the Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week honor for women’s soccer.

Arlt played beyond her freshman year intwo pivotal games for Monmouth which picked up a pair of wins and six points in the league standings to climb to third in the Midwest Conference standings. Arlt made four saves in the rain during Saturday’s 2-0 blanking of Beloit, Monmouth’s first shutout in nearly a month. Arlt surrendered just one goal in a crucial 2-1 overtime win at Lake Forest on Sunday. She turned in six saves, including a stop on a second half Penalty Kick with the game tied at 1-1.

A freshman business major, Arlt is the daughter of Patrick and Rhonda Arlt.
