The Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce has an important dinner on the horizon. The 99th Annual Chamber Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, Apr. 12 at the Warren County History Museum starting at 6 p.m. Amy Patterson with the Chamber says the event isn’t just a networking opportunity, but also, a chance to recognize outstanding achievement.
“What’s also special about our annual dinner – it’s not just coming together and networking – but we honor a large business of the year, small business of the year, and our citizen of the year,” she said.
The event will feature keynote speaker Carl Weitzel. Weitzel works with Lee-O’Keefe Insurance Agency based in Springfield. He is a retired Illinois State Police Lieutenant Colonel with 27 years of experience.
Tickets for the meal are $35 each. Attendees will have a choice between two meals: grilled lemon rosemary chicken or sliced brisket. All meals will be served with baby spinach salad, roasted new potatoes, fresh herbed vegetables, fresh bakery rolls, assorted mini cheesecakes, ice tea, and water.
For more information, call the Chamber at 734-3181.
