Fun-Filled March Ahead for Discovery Depot

Share

Discovery Depot has plenty of great kid-friendly programming coming up in the month of March. Each Saturday throughout the month starting Mar. 3, the Depot will host a Growing up Green event, which is a new program centered around Earth-friendly activities.

On Mar. 10, kids can visit the Depot to create and design their own leprechaun trap. The whole week before Easter, Discovery Depot will feature a regular Easter egg hunt and glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt, superhero day, plant your own herb garden day, and more from Mar. 26 through Mar. 30.

Denise Bradburn with the organization encourages parents and children to come on out and enjoy the wide variety of seasonal activities going on:

“That whole week before Easter, we have something going on every single day, so if you’re not on vacation, or you’re having a stay-cation, or if it’s a bad weather week, or even a great weather week, our playground will be open. It’s a good time to head down to Discovery Depot and check it all out,” she said.
