Carl Sandburg College Corporate and Leisure Fall Schedule

The Corporate and Leisure College at Carl Sandburg has released their fall schedule, including multiple day trips and history classes, for those interested to attend. Director Stacy Rucker shares their first fall day trip will take place on September 29th to Princeton, IL:

“For that one we will take a historical tour of Princeton aboard a trolley. We will eat lunch at Four and Twenty Café, then travel to the Owen Lovejoy Homestead for a guided tour. Our last stop will be to Myrtle’s Café & Pie, which their known for their variety of homemade pie. So we are looking forward to that,” Rucker states.

Other Day Trips will be to Spring Green, WI, Bellevue, IA, Davenport, IA, and Springfield.

There are also a number of fall history classes being offered, including Stories in Blue: The Lives of Local Civil War Soldiers and President Lincoln.
