This Friday, United West Elementary will be having their 1st Annual Fall Festival, formally known as the Chili Supper. The event will include a meal, carnival games, raffle items, and a silent auction. First Grade teacher, Katie Fry, shares more:
“We have tickets to the movie theater in Galesburg and Buffalo Wild Wings after. Northgate bowling and Happy Joes Pizza together. Freedom Roller Rink was really great, they gave us skating passes and laser tag passes. Pepperoni’s Pizza has been great and gave us a lot as well. We have Burlington Bees tickets, Quad City River Bandits tickets, and Peoria Rivermen tickets. Then we have a night’s stay out in Iowa City at a new hotel out there,” Fry states.
Meal tickets are $5 and another $5 gives you access to all the carnival games and activities.
All proceeds help fund the activity account at United West Elementary to help purchase supplies and materials for the staff and students.
