AUDITIONS: “The Savannah Sipping Society”
The BCA Armoury Players is pleased to announce auditions for “The Savannah Sipping Society.” Auditions will be held in the BCA Gallery:
Monday, December 3, 5-6:30pm
Tuesday, December 4, 5-6:30pm
Wednesday, December 5, 5-6:30pm

Saturday, February 9, 7:30pm
*Actors do not need to have anything prepared and will read cold from the script.
*No previous theater experience required!
*No audition appointment required; simply show up during the times listed.
*All races, ethnicities, countries of origin, genders, sexual orientations, religions, body types, and degrees of able-bodiedness welcome!
*Rehearsal dates and times will be determined upon the cast selection and will begin after the Christmas holiday.

Printmaking with Wendy Parks
11am-1pm Saturday, December 1, BCA Classroom. This class is complimentary for students ages 8-15 and is designed to teach introductory printmaking skills. Roll up your sleeves and learn the art of printmaking with this hands-on opportunity to design and create colorful, eye-catching prints. All materials, instructions, and refreshments provided. 5:30-8:30pm Thursdays, December 6 & 13, BCA Classroom. $20 per participant per session. This class is designed for adults 16 years and older. Complimentary for BCA members with Sustainer level or higher membership. COMMUNITY ARTS ACCESS GRANT
Buchanan Center for the Arts is accepting grant proposals from local arts and nonprofit educational organizations for our annual Community Arts Access Program. Grant funds are designated to support artists and nonprofit arts and educational organizations in Warren County. All eligible grant proposals are reviewed by a peer panel. Community Arts Access grants are available for visual, musical, performing, literary, and inter-disciplinary arts projects that provide community-based programming. Projects or programs must make a concerted effort to serve diverse and underrepresented populations. Eligible projects are those taking place between September 1, 2018-August 31, 2019. Grant applications available at the BCA or by visiting bcaarts.org and must be submitted to the BCA by Friday, December 7, 2018.

The Buchanan Center for the Arts invites you to kick off your holiday season and join us in the gallery for our annual Holiday Open House! Harlow Blum Retrospective
On exhibit through January 4, 2019, the Harlow Blum Retrospective is a collection of 130 works. From our main gallery to the classroom, Blum’s collection demonstrates his talent, creativity, and ability to beautifully repurpose found objects. Stop in and experience 60 years of art making! See you in the gallery.

Call for Submissions!
Women of Warren County
The Buchanan Center for the Arts and The Stewart House are partnering to create Women of Warren County. This Pop Up museum is an opportunity to join in a dialogue about our community’s past and will underscore the influence and commemorate the contributions of women in the Warren County region. If you or someone you know would like to share stories and artifacts, please contact the BCA or visit bcaarts.org (under “exhibits” on the main page) for a submission form. Submissions are due by Friday, January 4, 2019. Exhibitors will be contacted by the Buchanan Center for the Arts to make delivery arrangements of artifacts. Questions—call the Buchanan Center for the Arts at 734-3033 or The Stewart House at 734-5154. The Pop Up will be on display Saturday, January 19 – Wednesday, January 23, 2019.
