The Monmouth-Roseville Titans baseball team is currently in the midst of a losing skid as we head into the final month of the spring baseball season. After amassing a 9-6 record through their first 15 contests, the Titans are just 1-6 in their last 7 games, including a current losing streak of 3 games after losses to Orion and United this week. Now sitting at 10-12 on the season, Monmouth-Roseville has just a few more regular season matches left to get ready for IHSA regionals coming up in mid-May. The Titans were recently given the 6th seed in the class 2A Sherrard sub-sectional, and will either be at Princeton or Spring Valley Hall for their regional tournament.

Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show this morning, Titans Head Coach Jordan Ball gave his thoughts about the team getting a 6 seed, and having to play in a regional play-in game.

Monmouth-Roseville is scheduled to get back on the diamond on Thursday night at home for a rematch against the Orion Chargers. It will also be senior night for the Titans.
