Titans Alumni Soccer Tournament Returns to Pattee Field

The Monmouth-Roseville Titans Alumni Soccer Game is returning to Pattee Soccer Field again this year.

This will be the second annual year of the alumni game, but this year, things will look a little different. Organizer Raul Godina shares his vision for the tournament.

“My idea this year with the alumni tournament is, if we get enough players to sign up, I’d like to make the event an all-day community event. The first semifinal game would start at noon, and we would have a total of four games. There would be two semifinal games, the losers would play for third place, and the winners would meet for the championship. I want to invite anyone from the community. If you have a desire to make food and make some money, please come on out to Pattee Soccer Field. There will be no charge at all to come watch, and each member of the winning team would earn an individual trophy.”

This year’s alumni tournament will take place Saturday, August 1st at Pattee Soccer Field in Monmouth.

The tournament is not just open to Monmouth-Roseville alumni either. The deadline to sign up is Friday, July 10th, with a $35 fee to play, which covers insurance and a t-shirt. T-shirts can also be ordered for $15 for those who do not want to play.
