West Central Head Start will be holding an Art Show Open House on Thursday May 2nd in all of their centers in Knox, Warren, and Henderson counties. Mary Reed, Executive Head Start Director, has the details:
“One of the nice things about it is, it is things that the teachers have gathered throughout the course of the school year. So you kind of see when the children first come in and what their skill level is, which is so cute to see. Then as we are teaching cutting skills, the drawing skills, and making shapes and things like that, you can see throughout the year how their skill level has increased. It is just really awesome to see,” Reed shares.
The Art Show will begin at 6:30 and last until 8pm in all the West Central Head Start centers.
