David L. Smith, 62, of Little York, IL passed away at 1:00 am Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

David was born February 27, 1957 in Monmouth, IL the son of Frank A. and Marie (McGeehon) Smith.  He was raised and educated in the Little York area, attending Little York Schools and Yorkwood High School

David married Tammy Brown at the Little Cedar Presbyterian Church in Little York, IL on August 7, 2010 and she survives.

David drove trucks all of his life and spent most of his career driving cement truck for Gunther Builders Supply, Galesburg, IL.

He was a member of the Little Cedar Presbyterian Church, Little York.  He enjoyed practicing Karate with his daughter, fixing up old cars, camping with his brother, Michael, traveling to Pennsylvania to see his sister, Joyce and anything involving the outdoors.

David is survived by his wife, 3 sons, David Adam (Annemarie) Smith of Brewerton, NY, Jamie (Dawn) Smith of  Monmouth, IL  and Jeffrey (Mike) Maderios of San Francisco, CA; his daughter, Allie Smith of Little York, IL; 4 grandsons, Adam, Andrew, Zachary and Nathan; his 8 siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents
