Leona Maxine Naslund (Gates) left this life on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in Saint Louis, Missouri at the age of 90.  She was born on September 11, 1928 in Knoxville, Illinois, the daughter of Orval A. and Mable Alice (Graff) Gates.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herb Naslund; and one sister, Dalene Cramer.

She is survived by her five children: Peggy (Mike) Nelson, Chuck (Jean) Naslund, Richard (Susan) Naslund, Brian (Gloria) Naslund, Sarah (Mark) Armstrong; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Naomi Peterson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Victoria United Methodist Church in Victoria, Illinois.  The funeral service will directly follow at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Russ Theobald officiating.  Interment will be at the Victoria Cemetery in Victoria, Illinois.  Memorial donations may be made to Victoria United Methodist Church.  Online condolences and expressions of sympathy may be made through www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com.
