Rosemary F. Lair

Rosemary F. Lair, 82, of Jacksonville, passed away at home on Tuesday,
May 28, 2019. She was born April 28, 1937, in Monmouth, the daughter of
John “Jack” Jr. and Frances Boozan Doyle. She married Rodney Clark
“Skip” Lair on May 2, 1959, at Immaculate Conception in Monmouth, and he
survives.
She is also survived by one daughter, Karen (Brian) McGinnis of
Jacksonville; two step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Patrick) Manning of
Sycamore and Emily (Jon) Wiezorek of Chatham; and four
step-grandchildren, Max and Morgan Wiezorek and Aidan and Colin Manning.

Rosemary was a homemaker and had worked for several years at Mid’s
Casual Wear and Bound to Stay Bound. She was a member of Church of Our
Saviour and enjoyed traveling and working in her yard. She loved her
family and was always ready to help when needed.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at
Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. A graveside service will be
held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery
in Monmouth. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association,
Church of Our Saviour, or Memorial Home Services Hospice. Turnbull
Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois is in charge of local arrangements.
