Roxanne McIntyre, 61, of the Bluffdale Community, rural Gladstone, Illinois passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 31, 1957 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina the daughter of Gary and Beverly Gilbert Scanlan. On June 25, 1977 she married Dean McIntyre II in Monmouth, Illinois. They later divorced. Roxanne worked for a short time at both the Monmouth Pottery, Monmouth and Midwest Biscuit Factory, Burlington. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Burlington. She enjoyed time spent with family. Survivors include her former husband, Dean, three children, Deanna McIntyre of Gladstone, Pam Kendall of Burlington and Jean Ann of West Burlington, several grandchildren, including Dalton and Eva of Gladstone, her mother, Beverly of Monmouth and her father, Gary of Grandview, WI, two sisters, Renee Wickline of Alexis, IL and Jorie Scanlan of Monmouth, and three brothers, Bradley and Robert Scanlan both of Florida and Chris Scanlan of Galesburg. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and one son, Dean McIntyre III. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Olena Cemetery, near Stonghurst, Illinois. The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst. A memorial fund has been established in her memory.
