Sean D. Abbadusky, age 47, of East Moline, Illinois, formerly of
Monmouth, passed away at 8:11 A.M. on Monday, April 15, 2019 at OSF St.
Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. He was born on October 12,
1971 in Monmouth, Illinois, the son of Rex D. and Sandra L. (Hume)
Abbadusky. Sean attended school in Monmouth and was a graduate of
Monmouth High School. He later attended McMurray College in
Jacksonville, Illinois where he attained his BA. Sean worked for Warren
Achievement Center in Monmouth, Illinois and the Special Olympics, where
he very much enjoyed working with his clients. He also worked for the
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center and lastly as a patient
advocate for the Silvis Nursing Home. Sean loved sports and was a huge
fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Green Bay Packers, and the St. Louis
Cardinals. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed trips to the
Wisconsin Dells with his daughter and friends. Sean is survived by his
mother, Sandra Abbadusky of Monmouth, Illinois, his daughter, Makenna
Abbadusky of East Moline, Illinois, one sister, Lannette (Jim) Ferch of
Monmouth, Illinois, and numerous cousins. Also surviving are many
friends and his faithful companion “Rocky”. He is preceded in death by
his father.

As were Sean’s wishes, cremation is being accorded. A Gathering of
Family and Friends will be held this summer. A memorial fund is being
established for his daughter Makenna’s Education Fund. For more
