The Front Nine Foundation, a charity based in Peoria, will be hosting their first annual Galesburg Charity Fundraiser on Monday, June 10 with a golf outing at Soangetaha Country Club.
There are separate sponsorship levels for the event ranging from $100 to $1,500, with each sponsorship level having its own unique perks.
Check in is at 11:30 am, golf starts at 1:30 pm and the event ends at 7:15 pm with prizes and raffles.
Board President C.C. Wilcox tells us the fundraising mission for the Front Nine Foundation:
“We help children that may have some medical issues and their families have a hard time paying for these things, whether they have health insurance or not; there’s a lot of out-of-pocket expenses that come along with children being sick. Deductibles, coinsurance, travel expenses, all of these things, so basically we’re trying to help them with financial contributions and sponsorships of their families for the front nine of their lives so they can enjoy the back nine of their lives.”
