New Bus Barn Being Built at United

Share

United Junior and Senior High School are almost done with the first building phase of a bus barn on campus that will include office space, according to Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt.

Before the construction of the barn, United buses set on the United campus. United once had the Cavanaugh building on West Harlem but sold it to Monmouth College last year.

Whitsitt said students will help build the office space.

“We’re going to work with Coach Lucas and our building/trade kids. We’re going to do some wall boards, drywall, some flooring, run some electrical… just for the experience of it and we need it done anyway.”

United broke ground on the barn this past March.
