Share

The third annual Ride for Ryder is taking place Saturday, June 29 with a shotgun start at eight o’ clock in the morning.

The ride will start at Midwest Bank on 200 E. Broadway in Monmouth. Registration for the ride will begin at seven o’clock, costs $25, and includes a T-shirt and water bottle.

This year, there are three different routes for the event: 13 miles, 26 miles, and 50 miles. Anyone can participate.

Chris Gavin of Midwest Bank describes the design behind the T-shirt

“This year we knew we were doing the jersey and we wanted to do something special, so we reached back out to Tyler, Ryder’s older brother. Tyler drew this awesome picture for our jersey, and it’s Ryder riding his bike with his wings.”

For more information, participants can search for Midwest Bank’s Facebook page, or call the bank at 734-2265.
