WAC Applying for New Grant

Share

Warren Achievement Center will soon be applying for a grant to upgrade equipment and buildings within their network, Sean Cavanaugh of Warren Achievement says.

Some of the upgrades will include exercise equipment once their new day program building is constructed, plus a new sick room.

Cavanaugh says the upgrades are much needed.

“Everything we’ve had has served us well, but it seems like everything is breaking down at the same time, and those are not inexpensive things. Treadmills, exercise bikes, and what not, so we’re looking to purchase several of those.”

Cavanaugh estimates the grant that will be proposed will be in the $30,000 and $40,000 range.
