Sue Ann Tribbey, 66, of Galesburg, died at 12:40 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2019 in the Knox County Nursing Home.

She was born January 30, 1953, in Galesburg, the daughter of Ming Sun and May Sun (Mah) Wong.  She married John W. Tribbey on July 14, 1973, in Galesburg. 

She is survived by her mother, May Sun Wong of Galesburg; two sisters, Lily (Alan) Johnson of Medina, Minnesota and Sally Wiener of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a brother, Henry Wong in California; a niece; and a nephew.  She was preceded in death by her father and her partner, John Tribbey.

Sue worked for the Intra-State/Centel/Sprint/Gallatin River/CenturyLink Telephone Company in Galesburg for many years before retiring.  She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1971.  Sue enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, and other needle crafts.

Cremation will be accorded.  No visitation or service is planned.  Memorial contributions may be made to www.curepsp.org.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is handling arrangements for the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
